It was a beautifully calm early summer when we made our first-ever visit to St Albans, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear that this historic city holds a special kind of charm. The highlight of our day was undoubtedly the city’s Roman heritage. Walking through these ancient streets, we admired the remnants of what was once Verulamium, a thriving Roman settlement. Our visit to the Roman Museum was an unforgettable experience—providing a fascinating glimpse into how people lived during the Roman era.
